From the San Diego area: Take I-8 East to Highway 67 (toward Ramona). 67 turns into 78 in Ramona, follow to Julian.

From the Carlsbad / Vista area: Take 78 East to Julian.

At the four-way stop sign in downtown Julian (there is only one) take a left to Frank Lane Park (approx. 1/4 mile on the right hand side).

Scenic Route from I-8: Alternatively, take I-8 East to 79 (through the Cuyamaca State Park) to Julian. Turn left and proceed to the four-way stop sign in downtown Julian. Continue through the intersection and follow road to Frank Lane Park.
